Empty Nesters and Retirees will often agree that downsizing from a larger family home is an attractive proposition. They hope to save money, save time and energy on repairs and maintenance and maybe move to be close to family. There are a lot of things to consider, however before actually 'pulling the trigger'. Thinking about selling or storing treasured belongings which won't fit in a smaller home and wondering where visiting family will sleep, losing contact with local friends & neighbours and getting used to new ones are just a few of the considerations which make this is a complicated process.
